The Manchester Symphony Society (MSS)

The Manchester Symphony Society provides support for the MSO through:

  • Administration

  • Membership contributions

  • Grants

  • Scholarships and programs for school-age musicians

  • Concert production and planning.

In our partnership with Manchester University, they provide support through:

  • Released time for the Conductor

  • Facilities for rehearsal and concert performances

  • Resources and support of the Manchester Department of Music

  • Faculty, staff, and student musicians.
